Carla Ganito
Carla Ganito is an Assistant Professor of Faculdade de Ciências Humanas (FCH) of Universidade Católica Portuguesa since 2001. She has a MBA on Information Management and Marketing and a MA on Information Management on the theme: “The impact of mobility on the content industry: mobile entertainment trends in Portugal”.
She is conduction her PhD on Communication Sciences at FCH. Her PhD thesis will be on Gender and Mobile Phones.
She teaches Digital Communication and Marketing at the undergraduate level. Her area of specialization is information and communication technologies and her main subjects of interest are: mobile communication, entertainment, consumer culture, gender and technology and new media. She is the author of “Cellphone as Entertainment” (2007).
